  pressed eyelet (not to the end), turn bacares at an angle of 90°,pressed again, and so 2-3 times.

    - Large eyelets ( diameter 10 mm and more) take bocaraton, on the reverse side.

Note: For convenience, purchase side cutter with maximally flat cheeks.

The same operation can be done using nail scissors, but it is worth considering that the clippers will be permanently damaged.
